misc pic's - snow and belly!

Hello there!
Well I'm happy to say my club went ahead last night. I was pretty worried mid-day yesterday when the snow was falling like mad but it let up during the day and was raining by evening. It was our first night of this new club and it went really well. Great group of ladies!
Here's a picture of Kylie yesterday that I took since I kept her home from preschool as I didn't feel comfortable driving down the mountain. (laugh all you want you non-westcoast people but its scary here in the lower mainland to drive, plus no snow tires either) Anyway she had alot of fun making a snowman, snow angels and snow chairs for her and her sisters. I'm so glad that we finally had a decent dump of snow. After school a friend of mine and myself took our crew to a local hill and let the girls go sledding. Boy, did they sleep well last night!
I really hesitated to post this pic of me that I just took as I really don't like my picture being taken but I wanted to share my very pregnant belly with you for the first time. I am now 5 months and there's no hiding it! Its funny as alot of parents at school have no idea that I'm expecting - its such an easy thing to hide this time of year with all our layers on! Not sure if you can make it out but I'm carrying very high this time around.
Anyway no stamping pic's. I'm planning on prepping for my All Occasions Class that is coming up on February 11th. You can check out my class list on my new and improved website at http://www.ehmazingstampers.stampinup.net/ if you want.

felt flowers

Hello there!

The snow is really coming down again! I'm sad as I had to cancel my club for tonight :( We'll try again for tomorrow night so hope things clear up!

Here's a super easy quick card I made last week. Its 3x3 and uses the new Flower Fusion felt flowers. (wow, try saying that aloud 5 times fast!) This card also uses a new rub-on and some new designer paper. Real fun card that could easily be duplicable and make a whole bunch to have on hand!

Can't believe my pregnancy is over half way over! Seems like time is going alot quicker now that I'm feeling better. I'm so excited to meet our newest edition!

Have a great day!
Stay safe and warm! Esp to those that read this from back east and the prairies - BRRRRRRRRR!

club card

Greetings! I havn't forgetten you, I promise! Its just been crazy around here the last week or so! (can you relate?)
Here is one of the projects we made at my clubs this month. The ladies used the Watercolour Crayons, heat and stick powder and dazzling diamonds. Also the Bali Breeze designer paper. I didn't want the glittery flowers to be the focus so doing it this way they are more in the background and you can focus on the cute little mouse.
I have my team meeting tomorrow night so each spare moment working on that! Doesn't help how my grade 3 daughter has had over 3 hours of homework each evening! I was ready to breakdown last night! I wrote a note to her teacher today as she has no life, not to mention not seeing her daddy each evening :( Its ridiculous. School sure is different than it was when I went (many moons ago LOL).
Hope you're doing well. Would love it if you dropped me a line. Let me know what your plans are this weekend....Like I mentioned earlier I have my team meeting tomorrow evening. We're also having our Caregroup over for a potluck after church on sunday (13 kids and 10 adults) and that's about all the plans we have. YAHOO! Havn't seen my hubby all week either so looking forward to a much needed slow weekend.
Happy Stampin!

Rub-ons

Good Evening!
Last night after getting the girls to bed I had a big burst of energy and sat down at my stampin' desk. I have quite a few of the new rub-ons and really wanted to 'play' with them. I used them on quite a few 3D items (will post later) and also made this super, quick and easy card! I love how the white rub-on really pop's off the paper!
These rub-on's are going to be a choice for Sale-a-bration that is coming up in February. The Designer paper I used is from the Berry Bliss collection.
Have a great evening!

Happy Saturday!

Well I was so excited to get my box of new goodies yesterday! I find by the time evening comes i'm too pooped though so today is the day I get to play! My parents have my 3 girls so I have music going in my stamp room and i'm having fun :)
Here's a card I just finished using the new set ' Morning Soft. I used my watercolour crayons on watercolour paper. Old Olve designer paper, and new the new fine cosmo glitter in orchid. Lastly added a pin from the pretties kit! I copied the layout in the catalog as a starting point.

OK, off to mount more stamps.....

Have a great day,

Little girl bday card

Good Morning!

Well, we woke up to around 3 inches of snow today. The girls were disappointed that school wasn't cancelled as they so badly wanted to play in it! I was supposed to head into Coquitlam today to see my MIL but not taking the chance as they're calling for more snow so its a stay at home day!

Kylie has a birthday party on thursday so we took some time and make a birthday card. Can you tell which one she coloured?LOL. I asked her about the green faces as her reply was ' Mommy, there was no skin colour!' (she was using my SU watercolour pencilcrayons - and she's right) Her and her little friend are in ballet together so I thought this stamp set would be perfect! Not to mention I hadn't even used this set yet as it was a Christmas present to myself and my 3 girls :) Its a very cute set, and I'm glad I got it!

Anyway, hope you have a wonderful day!

Valentine card for Chris

yahoo - pink once again! I've had fun stamping lately using the new stamp set - A Happy Heart - which is the stamp set included in the Valentine Day Bundle which is on promotion now! (until the end of January)

I've made my club projects but won't share them until the ladies have come over this month.

Here is a card which I case'd from 'notimetostamp' from SCS. I liked the card size - which can fit in a standard envelope or an open ended SU envelope. The front of the card measures 3 1/4 x 6 1/2. Just Basic Black and Pretty in Pink are the colours used.

Anyway just thought I'd take a quick break from laundry as I'm getting ready for the girls to head back to school tomorrow. These last 2 weeks just flew by and I'm sad to see them go back. Its been a great Christmas break this year!

beauty inside and out

Hello there!

I just wanted to share some gorgeous pic's of my mom that I saw today. My parents love to ballroom dance and its a big part of their lives. These photo's were taken on New Year's Eve last week before they left for their dance. My mom has very curly hair so its so different to see her with the bangs straightened out! Looks amazing though, she looks like a movie star! I sure hope I get these genes as I get older! (she'll kill me for saying this but she's over 60!)
Love you Mom!
