Halloween Night

Hello!
Well we just got our girls to bed after a very fun night for them! They had such a good time going around our neighbourhood. I love how I can visit with all the families that come by. Chris took the girls out this year and I stayed home with Bailey and handed out candy and chips.
Thankfully the rain held off and it was a cool, crisp evening. The girl had many layers on and they were warm. The photo of Mikayla and Megan is just before school this morning so they didn't have to dress warm then..... For Sharpay Megan copied a picture of her from a music cd she owns....same colours on the outfit.
Anyway I hope you all had a safe and fun evening. Don't forget to brush your teeth :)

Pumpkin Patch

Hello!

It dawned on me that I hadn't shared a few pic's of us at the Pumpkin Patch that we took last week. It was such a beautiful, fall day. I love the pic of Mikayla and Megan as their faces are priceless! You can just feel the weight of that pumpkin...can't you? Its hard to make out but Kylie is in a wagon pulled by Chris in the other photo....
Our pumpkins are all carved and ready to go for tomorrow. I toasted the pumpkin seeds today finally and they turned out yummy.

Leave me a note to let me know what your kids are dressing up as. Its fun to see!
Mikayla is Laura Ingles (Little House on the Prairie)
Megan is Sharpay from High School Musical
Kylie is a princess

Polished Stone

Good Morning!

Well we had our first frost this morning. It was so beautiful and shimmery! Gotta find our mittens and hats though as it was nippy!

Here's a card that we made at my clubs in October showcasing the Polished Stone technique.

Colours used were bashful blue and almost amythyst. The ladies also made a swatch for their technique ring, a 2.4.6.8 box for Halloween and we made the stars from the Fall/Winter Collection on pg 197.

I hope you have a wonderful day,

Here's one fo the cards that the ladies made at a card class I did at a hostess's house last week. They made 4 cards each.
Wasabi textured c/s, wide red grosgrain, Fun & Fast Notes on shimmery white c/s, dazzling diamonds and the 2 way glue pen. Dashing designer paper. Window punch.
I'm off to pick up Kylie at preschool so I have to make this short!
I hope everyone is doing well! Thanks for visiting,

Name Game

Hi there, another post in one day! Amazing, eh?

I was tagged by Julie to play The NAME GAME. The name of the game is to list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life, for each letter of your middle name. If you don't have a middle name, use the name you would have liked to have had. When you are tagged you need to write your own blog post containing your middle name and game facts. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged and to read your blog.

Wouldn't you know it I have one of the longest middle names possible :)

E - Energetic - My days are jam packed with activies related to being a wife, mom, PAC member and SU demo.

L - Love - I'm so thankful to still be in love with my husband. We just had our 15th wedding anniversary this past August.

I - Ice cream - LOVE IT! Especially from Birchwood Dairy here in my hometown.

Z - My poor brain can't think of anything for this letter so I say 'pass'

A - Adoption - I am so thankful for 2 of my girls who joined our family thru adoption, plus my hubby is also adopted so it is a big part of our life.

B - Birthchild - I was amazed and thrilled to be able to have a birthchild 4 years ago. Our 3rd miracle joined our family!

E - Empathy - I love being with woman and feel such empathy for many of them.

T - too long is my middle name :) This is going on forever!

H - Home - I am grateful that I am able to be home during the day with my girls and then work at night with my SU business.

PHEW, I"m done. My name is so long I think I'm going to just ask you to fill this out and let me know you've done it so I can come read your blog and your answers! I look forward to seeing it! Please play!

thank you gift

Good Morning!
One of my clubs just ended their 2nd year with me and as a small thank you I made each gal one of these Sour Cream containers filled with some embellishments and chocolate! They are such a fun group of ladies and I"m glad to hear that for some of them it works to start up again in January!
I can't quite post the other projects yet as we have to do them in my other clubs this month. But I will, once they have all done them.
My holiday card club is tomorrow evening so I"ll post those 2 cards over the weekend. The 2 stamp sets we're using are Festive Favourites and Peaceful Wishes.
Anyway off to start my day. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello, and Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends here in Canada!
I was happy as this happened to be Chris's one weekend off a month so it worked out wonderfully! We went and visited Chris's mom on Saturday and then yesterday had turkey dinner at my parents. My sister, her husband and my newphew where there as well as my cousin Ruth and her 2 sisters who were visiting from the UK and Ireland. It was so neat to have all three of them together and then it was special for my girls as they thought it was neat that their Auntie Ruth was one of 3 girls just like them.
Today my parents had the girls for awhile so I spent some quality time stamping and doing load after load of laundry. Anyone else there with me today?
Anyway I'll have a few things to post once my club is over tomorrow evening.
Until then,
Hope you had a fabulous weekend,
and Happy Stampin'
