interesting find

Hello! Glad you could drop by!
I have my stampers club this evening so just taking a break from my housecleaning....just cleaned out the fridge, phew.

Thanks to my MIL here is one of the more interesting sites I have seen. Just put your mouse on a city anywhere in the world and the newspaper headlines pop up... Double click and it shows the whole front page. About 580 newspapers from over 80 countries.

Big Shot Hero

hello,

I was doing my catch up on blogs this morning before the kids wake up and I came accross the winning entry for the SU commercial that us demo's could make. You have to watch this video that Linda and her husband Matt made. Her blog is Where the rubber hits the road and you can watch it here. Its only 30 secs or so. What do you think? I thought it was too funny :)

Anyway have a great day!!!
Happy Stampin'

Christmas class first month

Hi Ladies!

Well I had my first Christmas class of 2009...I will be holding this class each month including November...different cards each month.

Its hard to make out but there are dazzling diamonds on both cards...on the small snowflakes, and then on the ornaments.

Enjoy, and hope to see you soon!

my swap card

Good Day,
Here's my card that I made for my team swap in July. It uses the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set, the colour wash technique and mounted on a circle of vellum. I also used my lots of tags sizzlits...
Have a wonderful day,

Greenhouse Garden

hello,
When I saw this set - Greenhouse Garden pg 94 of the new catalog I knew I had to have it! I've lost most of my '2-step stampin' sets over the last few years and fell in love with this one. I love how quick 2 stamp stampin' is and the effect it creates. Here's a quick card I made before the heatwave set in....I also wanted to use my new punch - the modern label punch which works so well for my window punch.

Have a great day!

Butterfly

Hello fellow stampers,

Well I'm back from a wonderful holiday in Penticton, B.C. We had a wonderful time with our 4 kiddies. Beautiful weather and lovely time with my parents as well. I love it there, and look forward to our annual trip every year.

Here's a card I made beforehand that I had planned for a downline stamping night. Unfortunately I cancelled due to an extreme heat wave and us not having air conditioning. It was only the 3rd time since 1880 or something we had it that bad. 44 degrees with humidity or something like that!!!! Needless to say it was survival mode for that week!
I used my new Elegant Bouquest impressions Embossing folder and sanded the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP to expose the white cardstock. The butterfly is from my Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die.

More to share in the upcoming days to hope you come back for a visit!

Flight of the Butterfly

Hi stampers,

Here is a card my friend Rosella made for my sample board. She came up with this layout and colour scheme. I love it, and I'm proud of how it all came together for her! You have your MoJo Back GF!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sarah's card

Hello,
Here is a beautiful card my downline Sarah made for our team swap. It uses alot of the new In Colours and the Razzleberry Lemondade DSP. Also the polka dot ribbon in Soft Suede which I havn't posted a sample of that to date! I love the background she made on the Razzleberry cardstock....a subtle brocade!
Hope you find time to be creative today!

Love the markers

Hi,
I know I sound like a broken record player (my kids would wonder what that saying even means LOL) but I'm sooo happy SU brought the In Colours in markers this year. I used them on this card to highlight the flowers. I used Rich Razzleberry and Hunger Green.
Paper piecing in the upper left and right corner too.
Have a great day!

Peace

Wow is it weird around here....Mikayla and Megan are both away at Horse Camp right now....such a differance with them gone. I miss them so much but I must say its alot quieter around here without them bickering! (just changes the dynamics..not saying they're the only ones to bicker)
Anwyay here's a peaceful card for my sample board. My friend Rosella came over and helped me crank out some cards at the beginning of July. She made this one for me. It uses the Butterfly Die, Top Note die and Inspired by Nature stamp set.
Today is my 17th wedding anniversary! Wow..time is flying quicker then ever, esp with our 4 little kiddo's to keep us busy! I love you Chris, your are an amazing Husband and Father to our children. Big Smooch!
