Hello!
As mentioned here are the club projects the ladies made this month. We used the shaving cream technique to make this background paper. I didn't want it too busy so just used Pretty in Pink reinker. Cosmo fine glitter on heat n' stick powder added alot of sparkle - and lastly finished it off with a rhinestone brad. (from the Pretties Kit)
Everyone made a swatch for their technique ring as well using the reinkers of Old Olive and Creamy Caramel. Love that colour combo!
Here is a 4x4 card that everyone did. I wanted everyone to try the rub-ons and build-a-brads. One of the clubs did a different variation of this card using a black scallop flower rub-on by basically the same layout. Berry Bliss designer paper is in the background. Had to be very subtle as not to take away from the stamping.
Anyway I hope you're all doing well! Its an odd but good feeling to be stamping at night and have the baby kick! (alot) I didn't have it much with Kylie as my placenta was anterior so it buffered most everything. This time the placenta is in the 'normal' position so feeling things alot easier and more!!! Mikayla and Megan have both been 'kicked' and it was so cool to see their eyes get big as saucers and huge big smiles! I love how the girls are older and can be a part of this pregnancy!
Take care,
Happy Stampin'

our Oregon trip
Good Morning!
I just wanted to share a few pic's from our Oregon trip we took 2 weeks ago. The weather was really lousy but we tried not to let it dampen our spirits!
We went to the Safari in Roseburg, Oregon where you drive thru with all the animals roaming free. Was REALLY cool and I recommend it if you're travelling to southern oregon. I posted the giraffe that was roaming around. There were also rhino's, camels, zebra's, lots of different deer, a bear enclosure you can drive thru, lion enclosure etc..... We then headed to the coast and went to Florence, Oregon to the Aquarium. I love this cool pic of the jellyfish! The sea lions were super friendly and interactive.
We did over 1800 kms so overall it was not a R&R holiday, but it was still great to get away from the everyday and not cook and clean for 6 days :) OH, and I also love how Oregon has no tax so I did a bit of shopping. (I got a stupid cold while I was there so wasn't in top shopping mode the whole time :( boo hoo)
Anyway we have company for dinner so better run. I've had 2 clubs this past week at my house, and the last one this coming tuesday so will share the projects after that.
Its such a beautiful day here in the Fraser Valley! Soooo nice not to have rain :)
Take care,
Kerry

My sweet Valentine
Hello there,
I don't know about you but having your hubby home on holidays sure wreaks havoc with my usual schedule :) I love having him around but its been a busy week - jam packed with errands and things around the house!
Last night we had a nice dinner with the girls. Chris made garlic prawns, garlic bread, cesar salad and rice. Key lime pie for dessert - YUM. He also gave me a beautiful necklace with 6 diamonds on it and said each diamond represents a member of our family. (choke back tears here.....) I took a pic of the card he hand stamped monday night while I had my class. Thankfully he got a bit of help of my cousin Ruth that was at the class as he was getting mad in here all by himself trying to figure things out - like how to get a brad in! LOL. He also used micro beads on the front of the card and I was shocked that he took my nice lid from my heart tin and glued it in the middle of the card! Ummmmm interesting :) Hope you enjoy and it brings a smile to your day :)
Have a great weekend,
Kerry

All Occasion card club class tonight!
Hello there!
Here are the cards the ladies will be making at my class tonight. 3 of the baby boy cards, 2 of the baby girl cards and 5 of the masculine cards. Going home with a total of 10 cards with envies.
My idea of offering these classes (feb/mar/april) are so that by the end of the 3 months you will have a total of 30 cards ready to go!
OH, on the baby cards I've since added dazzling diamonds to the moon and stars on the scallop circle area.....just that extra touch that it needed.
In case you might have been wondering where I've been my family and I went to Oregon this past week for one last holiday before the baby arrives. I'll upload some pic's of our holiday soon.
Have a great day,
Kerry

swap card
Hi there!
I met with some of the gals in my team this morning so we could hand out our new catalog/Sale-a-bration swaps. I've had to cancel our last 2 meetings due to the weather and we need our swaps for our displays! Sooo met at a coffee shop today.
Here's the swap I made using the Sale-a-bration set - So Many Scallops. I love how all 4 stamps in the set all coordinate using the scallop punch! Its hard to make out but I made the scallop image using the faux chipboard technique. Its mounted on 4 layers of punched cardstock and then the top layer is placed on that - and embossed. I used Irridescent Ice. I also used the Spring Fling designer paper as a background.
I'll upload the rest of the swaps at a later date....gotta run as its a busy day :)
Have a great day!
