'For a Friend' class

Hello,
Hope you had a wonderful weekend! They go so fast, don't they?
Here are the cards the ladies made at my card class last week. Included in the class fee was their very own, brand new, mounted 'For a Friend' stamp set. I found it went quicker then usual since they didn't have to wait to use the stamps as much. (they each had their own to use). It was a great evening, and a nice break for me to have with some grown ups. Jacob had fun hanging out with Chris and the girls downstairs watching a movie!
Not sure if you can make out the dry embossing I did on the pumpkin/chocolate card. I LOVE dry embossing and I'm looking forward to seeing if there are any new brass templates in the upcoming catalog. (available Aug 10th).
I've got a busy few days ahead of us so hope you have a super week! Thanks for stopping by!
Kerry
p.s. Happy Birthday to my dear husband today!!!! I remember helping his mom plan his surprise 21st birthday party....can you believe that was 20 years ago!!!! TIME FLIES!

What wonderful ideas for this set (which I have!!) On the first set of cards did you use daubers to put the colored dot on each card? The last picture, the card is beautiful - do you have a pattern or a tutorial for this? Very nice, thanks for sharing!!

I've been asked a few questions regarding these cards so I thought I'd answer them here...
For the first card(s) I used a circle stamp image. I suppose you could also use a dauber though.
For the last card it is a pocket card. I took a full sheet of c/s and cut at 4 1/4, up the middle. (you get 2 cards out of one sheet of c/s) I folded it in half, then brought just the front portion down around 1 1/2 inches and folded. I used sticky strip to attach to the edges to make the pocket.
Hope this helps,
Kerry
