Crazy for Owls

Hello!

Here is the 2nd card the club ladies made in January. I love the Owl punch and finally purchased it over the holidays. Merry Christmas to me :) Anyway as I was blog surfing, I came accross the great sample on createwithcori.com

Again we used the Valentine Defined stamp set from the Occasions Mini. Used the new glimmer paper on pg 7 (love how it doesn't come off in your hands like most glitter pages do!). Lastly another new product I showcased was the new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder called Framed Tulips - found on pg 28. Loooove it!

Valentine tri-fold

Here is one of the projects my club ladies made in January. I got the idea from createwithdee.typepad.com if you want to see her awesome work! I love this new set from the Occasions Mini called 'Valentine Defined' pg 9. The base of the card is a 12x12 pc of whisper white cut in half then you trim around 2" from one end so its on an angle. You attach the hearts on the angle.

Here is a card I made the other day. I love the new sparkly red c/s. It comes in a pkg of 2 - 12x12. I'll be using this at my clubs this month. I also used the new stamp set = defined by love. Colours used are crumb cake and real red.

Making Valentine projects with club this month - will share once the clubs have come over!

Hello on this sunny monday.

Last week was a busy one. I helped out in Kylie's Kindergarden class last tuesday and the children decorated the treat boxes that I shared previously. (the pullout ones) I premade 22 of them. It was so cute watching the kids decorate them....we used my 2 heart punches, stamps and markers.

Here is the card that Megan's grade 3 class made on thursday of last week. I used my Big Shot to made the scallop circles ahead of time. They all did such a wonderful job!

For Valentine's Day Chris gave me a bunch of beautiful red roses, some Lindt chocolate (yum) and a great black storage shelf for all of Jacob's toys. (my choice - gotta love getting organized).
In the picture its upright but I have it horizontal, along the wall....also bought 2 drawers that fit into it for all his small toys.

I had my club last thursday as well but won't share those pictures until my club this thursday has made them.

I'm Back!!!

Happy New Year!

Its been a whirlwind last month and I do apoligize for neglecting my blog. Life happens though, and now that our household is all well again, routine is back to normal I'm sure my blogging will get back to normal again too!

Just wanted to share my projects we made at my last stamp club last week.

Here is a card I case'd from treasureoiler on SCS...we did the shadow stamping and I'm hoping you can make out the slight shadow behind the flowers.






Next the ladies made a mini magazine holder - pattern by Becky Roberts. We used the Love you Much bundle (which is 20% off this month only, click here for more info). The 3x3's were inspired by Gretchen Barron's blog, but I did change them up a bit too. I love this little holder as you can make up an assortment of 3x3's and they make a cute gift!

Valentine card for Chris

yahoo - pink once again! I've had fun stamping lately using the new stamp set - A Happy Heart - which is the stamp set included in the Valentine Day Bundle which is on promotion now! (until the end of January)

I've made my club projects but won't share them until the ladies have come over this month.

Here is a card which I case'd from 'notimetostamp' from SCS. I liked the card size - which can fit in a standard envelope or an open ended SU envelope. The front of the card measures 3 1/4 x 6 1/2. Just Basic Black and Pretty in Pink are the colours used.

Anyway just thought I'd take a quick break from laundry as I'm getting ready for the girls to head back to school tomorrow. These last 2 weeks just flew by and I'm sad to see them go back. Its been a great Christmas break this year!
