Baby Shower invites

Greetings!

I was asked to make 30 Baby Shower invites for a friend of mine. Here they all are spread out while the 2 way glue dries with dazzling diamonds on the stars. I used last years Saleabration stamp set (love it, keeping it)...as well as this year's Saleabration designer paper. On the barely banana strip I ran it thru my Big Shot with a texturz plate (tiny dots) to add some interest.
For large quantities of cards (example when I made Baby Gift thank you's last year) I love ordering the note cards and envelopes from the Catalog. You get 20 prescored card bases + 20 white envelopes.

Anyway I have my All Occasion class tonight so I'll share those cards this week.

Have a great day!

Birthday Whimsey technique class

Hello!

We've had alot of fun having our friends over these past few days. Yesterday was torture as UPS delivered my Big Shot (among other things) BUT I had my friend from Edmonton here all afternoon, and then our friends came for supper and stayed till midnight so no playing for me!!! TODAY though, I managed to 'play'. My girls LOVE it and can do it by themself as well. I taught them how to make the 'sandwich'. GREAT way to use up lots of designer paper I have lying around. I made one of the cards for my Christmas card class for next week using the Top Note Bigz Die but won't share that card until after the class....

Here are the 4 cards the ladies made at my class last thursday. The class fee included their own Birthday Whimsey set which I had already mounted for them so they could use it that night.

Feb club projects

Hello!

As mentioned here are the club projects the ladies made this month. We used the shaving cream technique to make this background paper. I didn't want it too busy so just used Pretty in Pink reinker. Cosmo fine glitter on heat n' stick powder added alot of sparkle - and lastly finished it off with a rhinestone brad. (from the Pretties Kit)

Everyone made a swatch for their technique ring as well using the reinkers of Old Olive and Creamy Caramel. Love that colour combo!

Here is a 4x4 card that everyone did. I wanted everyone to try the rub-ons and build-a-brads. One of the clubs did a different variation of this card using a black scallop flower rub-on by basically the same layout. Berry Bliss designer paper is in the background. Had to be very subtle as not to take away from the stamping.

Anyway I hope you're all doing well! Its an odd but good feeling to be stamping at night and have the baby kick! (alot) I didn't have it much with Kylie as my placenta was anterior so it buffered most everything. This time the placenta is in the 'normal' position so feeling things alot easier and more!!! Mikayla and Megan have both been 'kicked' and it was so cool to see their eyes get big as saucers and huge big smiles! I love how the girls are older and can be a part of this pregnancy!

Take care,

swap card

Hi there!

I met with some of the gals in my team this morning so we could hand out our new catalog/Sale-a-bration swaps. I've had to cancel our last 2 meetings due to the weather and we need our swaps for our displays! Sooo met at a coffee shop today.

Here's the swap I made using the Sale-a-bration set - So Many Scallops. I love how all 4 stamps in the set all coordinate using the scallop punch! Its hard to make out but I made the scallop image using the faux chipboard technique. Its mounted on 4 layers of punched cardstock and then the top layer is placed on that - and embossed. I used Irridescent Ice. I also used the Spring Fling designer paper as a background.

I'll upload the rest of the swaps at a later date....gotta run as its a busy day :)

Have a great day!
