baby thank you

Good Morning!

Well I needed a few more baby gift thank you's, plus a baby card for a shower I'm going to on thursday so I just took a few minutes to make these ones up. I have a TON of bold bright brads to use as in my last Christmas class we used 3 pkgs of just the real red ones. Soooo I have so many Green Galore to use up. That's what I started with on this card and worked from there.

Also couldn't resist putting this cute picture of my younger 2 children smiling together. Its so much more quieter around here now that 2 out of 4 are in school all day. Kylie starts Kindergarden tomorrow afternoon so then we'll just have Jacob for 2 1/2 hours! Hope he naps then so I can have some time to catch up on house stuff and hopefully stamp!

Have a great day!

Smiley Jacob

Hello,

Hope you're having a great week! I'm still going thru my new catalog and drooling :) I don't know how they always can out-do the last one, but they always do!

Here is a pic of our little man taken yesterday. He's so smiley now and really interacting.

These are the sets of cards I made for my cousin and her sister that visited us last week from Cochrane, AB. I just love Groovy Guava and wanted to use it one last time before it retired! I straight CASE'd this card from the Spring/Summer catalog as I wanted something quick, yet beautiful to make for them. (I made 10 of the cards with envies in 1 1/2 hrs or so)

I have my Birthday Whimsey Technique card class tomorrow evening so I"ll be sharing those samples later on this week. Stay tuned!

Happy Stampin'

long lost friend

Hello!

Today I was childless for a few hours so I started the huge task of organizing my stamp room! Made huge dent so that's good! Anyway I came accross a long lost friend :) Rememberthe Three for You Punch Box? You can view it here if you can't remember....I used it a ton when it first came out and then put it away and had forgotten about it! I love the polka dot stamp in it and all the little words. I also had not used the new Die Cut blooms or Flower Fusion so it was fun using them! So bright and cheerful! The Make a Wish sentiment is from the Eastern Elegance Rub-ons package. Lastly a Rhinestone brad added a bit of bling to the centre of the flower. It felt so good to stamp tonight again....I also created one of the club projects for this month (and cut all the cardstock) but can't share that until the end of the month so if my customers are taking a peek at my blog they'll be surprised when they come :) Lastly made a quick baby Thank You card for a co-worker of Chris's. I rec'd my first baby gift the other day! Sure makes it 'real'! I know its real though cuz this little one is a gymnast....anyone relate? LOL

Anyway I"m gonna hit the hay. Hope you have a wonderful, relaxing day tomorrow.

Happy Stampin'

Spring Break - week one

Greetings!
Hope you're having a great spring break! We are just starting our 2nd week of Spring Break. The girls are starting VBS this afternoon, every afternoon this week. (yippee for the girls and for me!)
Anyway we had a super busy week last week. I had a SU club here tues night and then thursday night I had my monthly All Occasion card club class. These are the 2 cards that the ladies made - 5 of each incl envies. I have a bunch of sentiment stamps out that they can customize the card to what they need. I feel in love with these samples while surfing the net a month or so ago! (if its your sample please let me know and I'll give you full credit!)
Friday we had a great visit with the girls cousins, aunt's and Grandma. It was so nice for everyone to get together at my SIL's house as we usually just casually run into each other while visiting my MIL in her nursing home. The older cousins did an egg hunt for my girls which of course they loved!
Saturday we had a big open house type party at my parents house for my Dad's 65th bday. All in all I think over 30 guests came thru. It went really well, girls were so well behaved but I was pooped! Standing on my feet all afternoon with this belly of mine did me in! Glad it went well and I'm going to get the pic's we took developed soon so I can make a scrapbook for my dad to capture this special day.
Yesterday - Easter Sunday we went to church and then had a family day at home.
Phew, there were other app'ts, things we did but these were the highlights of last week!
OH, and now I'm in the middle of taxes so have them spread out on a card table in our family room, so every spare moment plugging away at those! Yuck.
I hope you have a wonderful week!

Team Meeting

Hello there!

Just a quick update before my Take Three class starts soon. I'll post those pictures tomorrow.

Here is the make n' take the ladies made saturday night at my team meeting. Hard to make out but the image is stamped in Choc Chip craft and clear embossed. I love using that look when using watercolour crayons. Also made use of the micro fine cosmo glitter in blue. Lastly used the faux chipboard technique for the sentiment.

We made another small make n' take with the new Tart n' Tangy stamp set from the Occasions Mini which is now available! Its perfect doing the Scratch n' Sniff technique with!

Anyway better go get set up! Thanks ladies for a wonderful evening! As usual alot of fun and good to bounce ideas off of one another!

felt flowers

Hello there!

The snow is really coming down again! I'm sad as I had to cancel my club for tonight :( We'll try again for tomorrow night so hope things clear up!

Here's a super easy quick card I made last week. Its 3x3 and uses the new Flower Fusion felt flowers. (wow, try saying that aloud 5 times fast!) This card also uses a new rub-on and some new designer paper. Real fun card that could easily be duplicable and make a whole bunch to have on hand!

Can't believe my pregnancy is over half way over! Seems like time is going alot quicker now that I'm feeling better. I'm so excited to meet our newest edition!

Have a great day!
Stay safe and warm! Esp to those that read this from back east and the prairies - BRRRRRRRRR!

club card

Greetings! I havn't forgetten you, I promise! Its just been crazy around here the last week or so! (can you relate?)
Here is one of the projects we made at my clubs this month. The ladies used the Watercolour Crayons, heat and stick powder and dazzling diamonds. Also the Bali Breeze designer paper. I didn't want the glittery flowers to be the focus so doing it this way they are more in the background and you can focus on the cute little mouse.
I have my team meeting tomorrow night so each spare moment working on that! Doesn't help how my grade 3 daughter has had over 3 hours of homework each evening! I was ready to breakdown last night! I wrote a note to her teacher today as she has no life, not to mention not seeing her daddy each evening :( Its ridiculous. School sure is different than it was when I went (many moons ago LOL).
Hope you're doing well. Would love it if you dropped me a line. Let me know what your plans are this weekend....Like I mentioned earlier I have my team meeting tomorrow evening. We're also having our Caregroup over for a potluck after church on sunday (13 kids and 10 adults) and that's about all the plans we have. YAHOO! Havn't seen my hubby all week either so looking forward to a much needed slow weekend.
Happy Stampin!

Rub-ons

Good Evening!
Last night after getting the girls to bed I had a big burst of energy and sat down at my stampin' desk. I have quite a few of the new rub-ons and really wanted to 'play' with them. I used them on quite a few 3D items (will post later) and also made this super, quick and easy card! I love how the white rub-on really pop's off the paper!
These rub-on's are going to be a choice for Sale-a-bration that is coming up in February. The Designer paper I used is from the Berry Bliss collection.
Have a great evening!
Kerry
p.s we had a great ultrasound today and everything is looking good! Thanks for your continued prayers and well wishes - they mean alot to us!
p.s.s. I listed all the retired stamp sets I have for sale on the left hand column. Let me know if you're interested in any of them!

fun new product!

Happy Saturday!

Well I was so excited to get my box of new goodies yesterday! I find by the time evening comes i'm too pooped though so today is the day I get to play! My parents have my 3 girls so I have music going in my stamp room and i'm having fun :)
Here's a card I just finished using the new set ' Morning Soft. I used my watercolour crayons on watercolour paper. Old Olve designer paper, and new the new fine cosmo glitter in orchid. Lastly added a pin from the pretties kit! I copied the layout in the catalog as a starting point.

OK, off to mount more stamps.....

Have a great day,

Little girl bday card

Good Morning!

Well, we woke up to around 3 inches of snow today. The girls were disappointed that school wasn't cancelled as they so badly wanted to play in it! I was supposed to head into Coquitlam today to see my MIL but not taking the chance as they're calling for more snow so its a stay at home day!

Kylie has a birthday party on thursday so we took some time and make a birthday card. Can you tell which one she coloured?LOL. I asked her about the green faces as her reply was ' Mommy, there was no skin colour!' (she was using my SU watercolour pencilcrayons - and she's right) Her and her little friend are in ballet together so I thought this stamp set would be perfect! Not to mention I hadn't even used this set yet as it was a Christmas present to myself and my 3 girls :) Its a very cute set, and I'm glad I got it!

Anyway, hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Stampin'

Amy's card

Good Morning,

Before I get a start on my day I thought i'd share Amy's lovely masculin Valentine's Day card from our shoebox swap tuesday night.
I loved how she used dry embossing - it really pop's on the paper!

I getting together with a friend tonight to hopefully get crackin' on my Christmas cards! My older 2 girls are also having friends sleep over so hopefully they won't be too hyper and i'll get some down time tonight!

Have a great Friday,

Kerry

my project

Hello there

I had a great time at our team meeting tuesday night. Here is my contribution to the shoebox swap. I was intrigued to try using my SU markers to watercolour. I used this link
Here is the link:http://paperpleasing.typepad.com/my_weblog/2007/10/no-copics-no-pr.html as she gives a great tutorial. I used Cameo Coral and Ruby Red for the flower, and my aquapainter.
I have photo's of all the other ladies shoebox swap projects and i'll upload those in the next few days as well.

Happy Stampin'
